Tia Rungrayとしてのキャリアのスタートとなる、オリジナル版「Foresta」は2013年に発売された。
富士山麓の森の風景をモチーフにした9曲が収録されたこのアルバム。非常に危険なバランスの上に成り立っており、音やフレーズはアンビエントと呼ぶには硬すぎて、クラシック音楽と呼ぶには濁りすぎていて、ノイズ音楽と呼ぶには汚れていなかった。
そして、発売から7年後、彼の個人的な興味から生まれた「Foresta re-Edit Project」。これらの曲と向き合った時、音にどのようにメイクアップしていくか？そのバランスを保ちながら、当時のサウンド編集ではできなかったことを読み解き、完成させたのである。

The original version of ‘Foresta’, the start of his career as Tia Rungray, was released in 2013.
The album contains nine tracks inspired by the forest landscape at the foot of Mount Fuji. It was built on a very dangerous balance, the sounds and phrases were too hard to be called ambient, too murky to be called classical music, and too dirty to be called noise music.
Then, seven years after its release, the Foresta re-Edit Project was born out of his personal interest. When confronted with these songs, how do you give them a makeover in sound? Keeping that balance, he was able to read and complete what was not possible with the sound editing at the time.
